The University of Transport and Communications (UTC), originally named as Vietnam College of Public Works, was reopened under the revolutionary government on November 15 1945 and was officially established as University of Transport and Communications on March 24 1962. Generally, UTC is the largest and the oldest technical university in transport and communications field in Vietnam. Nowadays, UTC is up to become a multi-disciplinary university of engineering, technology and economics. UTC has 2 campuses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
