Sriwijaya University or Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI) is one of the leading state universities in Indonesia. Since 2016, UNSRI has been accredited “A” issued by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia. It was established on October 29, 1960 and has contributed significantly in the development and advancement of science, technology, art and cultures. Its contribution to produce, recognize and qualify scholars in various fields of study has made Universitas Sriwijaya become one of the most influential state universities in Indonesia. With the total of 7000+ Indonesian students and 80+ international students, UNSRI has been developing rapidly. In the beginning, UNSRI only had four faculties with eighteen majors. Now, it has developed into 10 faculties with 64 undergraduate programs, 18 postgraduate programs, 4 doctoral programs, 6 diploma programs and 2 specialization programs. Known as the largest university in Southeast Asia, UNSRI has several campuses located in Indralaya and Bukit Besar Palembang. The main campus is in Indralaya, while the Postgraduate Program is in Srijaya Negara and Padang Selasa Bukit Besar. UNSRI also has several campuses in Palembang, namely Medical Faculty which is located in the area of Mohammad Hoesin National Hospital Palembang, and Teacher Training and Education Faculty which are located in Ogan and KM. 5 Palembang.
