Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) was established in 1969 with over 50 years in operations. The University has 8 specialized faculties and an office which administers the Advanced Educational Programs (AEP), 7 functional departments to serve the training programs, 2 research institutes and 13 centers, 24 educational training programs for undergraduates, 10 master and 8 doctoral programs. Advanced Education Program (AEP) has established four international undergraduate courses: Environmental Science and Management (ESM), Food Technology (FT), Agricultural Economics (AE), International Tourism Management (ITM) and two Master’s courses in Environmental Science (fully funded by DAAD – Germany) and Biotechnology. These international courses are conducted by TUAF in collaboration with the world’s well-known universities as University of California (UC), USA; Michigan University, USA; University of New England (UNE), Australia; Tamkang University, Taiwan, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan; and Kasetsart University, Thailand. 100% of the local teaching staff in the program are trained in advanced Doctorate courses overseas, with profound specializations and good English proficiency. In addition, TUAF has also been inviting lecturers from famous universities of the USA, Australia, Germany, Japan to teach. TUAF has material facilities with lecture system, English classrooms, online learning classrooms, integrated software of advanced foreign language, equipped with air-conditioners, projectors, sound system.
