Prince of Songkla University (PSU) is a multi-campus public university that was founded in 1967 as the first university in southern Thailand. PSU consists of 5 campuses that are strategically located across the southern Thailand region: Hat Yai (main campus), Pattani, Phuket, Surat Thani, and Trang. Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket) was founded on November 14, 1977. The university is comprised of 3 faculties: Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, Faculty of International Studies, and Faculty of Technology and Environment; and 1 college: College of Computing. The university currently offers 14 international programs taught in English: 8 bachelor’s degree programs, 4 master’s degree programs, and 2 doctoral degree program.

Accommodation & Facilities
The on-campus dormitory is air-conditioned and fully furnished with beds and mattresses, study desks and chairs, and wardrobes. Private bathroom with a water heater is located inside each room. There is free WiFi access throughout the building. The maximum occupancy is 2 students per room. Coin-operated washing machines are available only in the female dormitories. Restaurants and minimarts are situated within the dormitory areas.
The university also includes the following facilities:
Free wireless internet, free limited-service health clinic, indoor and outdoor sports complex: an Olympic-sized swimming pool, football field, badminton courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, table tennis room, 24-hour fitness gym, and Muay Thai gym, library, free shuttle van to nearby shopping centres and night markets (2 times per week), hotel accommodation, canteen, cafes and coffee shops, ATM machines, language centre, computer labs, and Confucius Institute at Phuket (CIP).
