Established in 1957, Padjadjaran University or Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) aims to be an excellent university in providing world-class education on teaching, research, and the development of sciences and community services which are internationally competitive and relevant to the needs of stakeholders. This aim will advance intellectual development and community prosperity, and produce academic individuals who are concerned about the local and national cultural values in the diversity of world cultures. In total, UNPAD has 17 faculties, which consist of Law, Economics and Business, Medicine, Math and Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Dentistry, Social and Political Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Psychology, Animal Husbandry, Communication, Nursing, Agriculture Industrial Engineering, Fishery and Marine Science, Pharmacy, Geological Engineering and School of Postgraduate Program.
